About me

From little-known places

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and spent my free time hiking, back-packing and caving. This gave me an opportunity to explore remote areas and experience the undeveloped beauty of the wilderness.

Beauty comes in many forms, from the lush, glacier-carved valleys of the Pacific Northwest, to the scrub-thorn ruggedness of the Southwest. Each has it's unique character and attraction.

I decided to move to Tucson, AZ in 1999 to enjoy the desert climate.

I love the weather, and rainfall is something cherished here.

Here, it's a short drive to walk among strange rock-formations or up to forested mountains, or to a small lake, nestled in the desert hills.
